My 6 year old was hooked from the start. This version maintained the exotic flavor of the original while presenting the stories in a child friendly phrasing. I have read the full version and love it, but the language is sometimes too elaborate and complex for a child. This is written perfectly for kids. The narrator h|About the Author|Jim Weiss has been a storyteller for more than twenty-five years. He lives and works in Charlottesville, Virginia.
